About

Designed and manufactured in Houston, Texas Versa-Clamp is a tubing and pipe clamp and support made to solve or reduce the problems associated with electrolysis and crevice-corrosion of tubing installed in harsh environments, such as offshore. It provides a combination of necessary solutions for preventing or reducing electrolysis and corrosion while satisfying industry needs with clamp design and integration. That design of the clamp being one that provides minimum contact and ventilation around contact points while offering a compact system with features that allow uniform configurations of assorted tubes with equal or dissimilar diameters and unlimited numbers of tubes to be secured and supported within the same clamping system. That design also being one that provides the use of a diversity of materials for clamp composition for isolation of dislike metals, special applications and space saving qualities for industry systems and facility integration. Versa-Clamp has been accepted by and installed on various offshore assets in the Gulf of Mexico as well as onshore equipment and facilities.

The unique design features of Versa-Clamp provide minimum contact and ventilation around the clamping area of tubes to reduce the retaining of and aid the evaporation of moisture that contributes to crevice-corrosion at contact points between clamp and tube. The design also gives the clamp maximum structural integrity for when tubes are stringently secured in place within grooves of the clamp body. The grooves are designed to make contact on the surface of tubes at points that will prevent them from shifting while also directing stress from clamping pressure to avoid fracture within the groove. The grooves are also designed to compensate for pressures being applied from bolting and give even clamping pressure across tubing between bolting points.

Versa clamp standard supports are pre-packaged, labeled and readily available and non-standard support assemblies can be pre-packaged for special projects and shipped to meet delivery requirements. Either standard on the shelf supports or non-standard supports can offer time and cost savings for new installations or turn key projects compared to conventional methods practiced in the industry.
